FAQ: IS THIS A PIERCING GUN?

The STUDEX system is different to a traditional piercing gun. A traditional piercing gun is spring loaded, popping through the skin with a button press. The STUDEX system is a hand pressured device which means the therapist who is piercing you squeezes the system and controls how fast the piercing goes into the skin. No springs involved. This means that STUDEX does not cause the trauma that usually worries clients when they have had experiences with a traditional piercing gun.
